Pre-K/ Four-year old Class

Our days are full of activity.  We have a weekly theme, letter and number that we use as the basis for our learning.  We start our day with a little bit of table work with manipulatives while we wait for everyone to arrive.  We love to do cooking and science experiments, music, movement, yoga and talk about celebrations around the world by going by “plane” to different countries and learning about them. More independence is developed in this classroom, as we are preparing for an easy transition into kindergarten the next year.

. As with all classes at WBPP, the four-year old class spends time outdoors playing on the playground or playing an organized sport! This classroom is extremely large! The teacher/child ratio is 1/8 with 2 teachers in the classroom.
