Weather Policy

In the event of snow or other weather emergencies, we will close when Wake County Public Schools are closed. If Wake County is delayed for 1 or 2 hours, we will open at 10:00am. Please check your Procare app, email, as well as the local television and radio stations for announcements. Parents will be notified by phone of any change in policy. If Wake County closes during school hours, we will close immediately. Make up days, opening and closings will be by the discretion of the Director.

What If My Child Is Sick?

Certain symptoms in children may suggest the presence of a communicable disease. Children should remain at home until a physician has certified the symptoms are not contagious or until the symptoms have subsided. The symptoms are as follows: Fever, respiratory symptoms, diarrhea, vomiting, eye/nose drainage, sore throat, skin problems, itching, unusual appearance/behavior.
